SupportIT Service

The IT Service offers competent support and advice for all URZ services. It is the first contact point for all IT-related questions and problems. Our service associates can be reached via telephone, video call, contact form, email and in person at two IT Service Points.

Moodle via VPN from July 03, 2024 : Expansion of support services

For the period from July 3 - 12, 2024, the IT service will be personally available for you both at the URZ and the UB as well as in the service portal for students in the Central University Administration. URZ: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:00 / UB : Tuesday and Thursday, 09:00 - 14:00 / ZUV: Monday to Thursday from 10-16, Friday 10-14 / Please note: Due to an increased volume of customers, there may be longer support waiting times.


  • First level support for users of URZ IT services
  • Consultation via telephone, email, video call or in person at the IT Service Points
  • Setting up WiFi and VPN on work laptops, smartphones and tablets
  • Project number administration
  • Planning and execution of IT-related information and introductory sessions
