Service YoKI
The university's AI platform for students and employees
YoKI is the university AI platform which includes a selection of multiple open-source language models (LLMs). All of the models are on-premises, meaning that they are operated on university servers and can therefore be used in compliance with data sovereignty and data protection regulations. The YoKI platform currently offers employees and students the use of four AI assistants with different specializations:
- Llama from Meta: a standard, high-performance system for text generation and processing
- DeepSeek: an alternative high-performance language model
- Aya from Cohere: a multilingual language model
- Qwen: LLM with a wide range of programming languages and a focus on coding
Target Group
- Students
- University employees
Use
- Data sovereignty and privacy: Since YoKI is hosted on university servers, sensitive and confidential data remains within the university and is neither forwarded to third parties nor stored locally at the University Computing Centre. Therefore, YoKI is suitable for research, teaching and administration at the university.
- The various specializations of the available AI assistants can be used, for example, to support text editing, translations or programming.
- Employees and students can use YoKI in a secure environment to gain experience with different AI models and test them in action, enabling them to consider the opportunities, challenges and risks these models present.
Access and Requirements
The use of YoKI is only possible from within the university network or via VPN. Please carefully read the terms of use.
