How-To Set up an Exchange account in Apple Mail

1. Open Apple Mail. You will be prompted to sign in once. Select the option “Microsoft Exchange” and click on “Continue”.

2. Now enter your login information (name and e-mail address).

3. In the next step, enter your password.

4. Click on the “Log in” button in the next window.

5. Now enter your name, your e-mail address, your user name and your password again. For the user name, enter “ad\” followed by your Uni-ID or project number.

Example: ad\xy123

6. Fill in the missing information in the next window. Then click on “Log in” again.

7. Select all the apps that are to be used with your account. Confirm with “Done”.

8. Now select an option for e-mail data protection - preferably “Protect mail activity”. Then click on “Continue”.
