How-To Set up an Exchange account in Android
This how-to describes how to set up an Exchange account on a device using Android.
1. Tap the “Users and accounts” button in the settings.
2. Tap the “Add account” button.
3. Select the option “Exchange”.
4. Enter your e-mail address. Then tap on the “Set up manually” button.
5. Enter your password.
6. Enter the following data:

Depending on the assignment of your Exchange mailbox, use your Uni-ID or project number for your domain according to the following scheme:
- ad\<uni-id> or
- ad\<project number>
- Server: exchange.uni-heidelberg.de
7. Then tap on the “Next” button.
8. Tap on the “Permissions” button.
9. Select the “Activate device administrator” option.
10. Complete the setup.
