How-To Activating an Origin licence

When you open the Origin programme, you will see a message stating that you are using a trial version which will expire in x days. If activation is not successful immediately upon installation, you can activate the licence at a later date. Please follow these instructions carefully.

1. Open Origin as an administrator.

2. Click on ‘Help’.

3. Now click on ‘...About Origin’

4.  Licence, then click on

5. Licence, then click on

6. OK, then click on

7. OK. All the details are entered there.

8. You then need to log in to the Origin website, where you’ll be given the license details, which you should then copy into the window in the background.

If this method also fails, please carry out one or both of the following steps:

• Make sure you have used the correct serial number and access code.
• Uninstall Origin and reinstall the programme.
