How-To Setting up eduroam on Android
These instructions show you step by step how to connect your Android device to the eduroam network.
1. Ensure that your device is connected to the internet (via mobile network, UNI-WEBACCESS, etc.).
2. Go to the Play Store and install the “geteduroam” app.
3. In the app, type “Uni Heidelberg” or similar search terms into the search field. Then select “University of Heidelberg” from the list and tap the corresponding button.
4. Enter your username (Uni-ID with “@uni-heidelberg.de”) and your password. Then tap on “Log in.”
5. Eduroam is now successfully set up on your Android device. Tap the “Close app” button to finish the process.
