How-ToLogin Cisco Secure Client - AnyConnect - VPN
This guide describes how to log in to the Cisco Secure Client - AnyConnect - VPN with multi-factor authentication.
Log in with multi-factor authentication
- Open the programme. Then click on "Connect".
Note: When using the software for the first time, the correct address of the university's VPN server should be automatically adopted after installation. If this is not the case, you can enter it manually: vpn-ac.urz.uni-heidelberg.de.
2. Enter your user ID/Uni ID and your corresponding password.
3. Enter the time-based one-time password (TOTP) that you received via the Authenticator app (or the hardware token). Click on "Continue".
4. Accept the notice.
Ready.
