Service Announcement - 17 July 2026 Resolved: SharePoint: Workflow Issues Since the July Patch Day

22.07.2026: The issue has been resolved.

Following the July Patch Day (July 14, 2026), there are currently issues with workflows in SharePoint due to changes made by Microsoft as part of the patches.

Both the 2010 and 2013 versions of the workflows are affected.

This is a general issue affecting all SharePoint installations. We are working on a solution, but it is unclear whether a workaround can be found before Microsoft releases an official fix via a follow-up patch.
