These Service Cards (and other supported card such as the Canteen Card from the Studierendenwerk) must be assigned to a user ID before they can be used with the Ricoh administrative devices.

To do this, log on to a Ricoh administrative device running activated Inepro add-on software with your user ID and password.  On the device screen, you will be presented with the option to print, copy or scan. On the top right, there is a Tool icon. Click on this icon and choose "Register Card". After the device reads your card and displays the card number, confirm the registration by clicking on the field next to the card's serial number, then logging out. In the same menu where you registered your card, you can also set a minimum 4-character PIN (called password in the menu) for your card.

With your card, you can copy and scan (Scan2Email to your email address that is connected to your user ID) as well as print files sent to the Inepro server.
