How-To Setting up eduroam on Windows
These instructions describe how to connect to the eduroam network on your Windows device.
1. Ensure that your device is connected to the internet (via mobile network, UNI-WEBACCESS, etc.).
2. Enter "https://cat.eduroam.org/" in the address bar of your browser to access the Eduroam website and click on the large blue button.
3. Type “University of Heidelberg” or similar terms into the search bar, select “University of Heidelberg” from the list, and click on the corresponding button.
4. Click on “eduroam” and then on the “Next” button.
5. Run the downloaded file and confirm all Windows security prompts with the “Yes” option.
6. Click on the “Continue” button.
7. Click the “OK” button.
8. Enter your username (Uni-ID with “@uni-heidelberg.de”) and your password.
9. Wait until the installation is complete. Click “Finish.”
