How-To Migration to the new ChemDraw/ChemOffice+ license portal

Launch the ChemDraw software. You should see the following dialog box:

Please click “Cancel.” The dialog box will close, and the software will launch shortly thereafter.

You should now see the following screen:

Now you need to deactivate your current license in order to activate the new one.

Please click on “Help” in the menu bar and then on “Licensing”.

The following window will now open:

You must fill in the required fields: Name, Email, and Activation Code.

Then select “Activate or deactivate online” and click the “Deactivate” button to deactivate your “old” license.

You will then see the following message:

Please click “OK”.

A dialog box will then open where you must select the type of license:

Please select the “Signals account” option and then click “Next.”

A field will now appear where you must enter the URL of the University of Heidelberg's license server.

In the “Signals URL” field, enter the following URL: https://uni-heidelberg.signalsresearch.revvitycloud.eu

Then click on “Sign In.”

A page will now open in your default browser where you can log in using your university ID and password:

The following pop-up window should now appear:

Please confirm by clicking the “Allow” button.

In the following menu, please check the box and confirm by clicking the “Open Link” button.

The software will then open, and it will now be licensed again.
