Project Data management and analysis for skin immunity research
Support with research data management
The CRC Transregio 156 ‘The Skin as Sensor and Effector Organ Orchestrating Local and Systemic Immune Responses’ aims to investigate the cutaneous immune system in all its complexity within a globally unique research consortium, thereby laying the foundations for new therapies for skin diseases. To achieve this goal, dermatologists, immunologists, microbiologists, pharmacologists and biochemists from three research locations have joined forces to form a coherent consortium.
The University Computer Centre, together with the Institute for Medical Informatics, is supporting this medical research project as part of the INF project ‘Data Management and Analysis for Skin Immunity Research’. Within this framework, the IT services required for the research projects are provided and their use is supported. In addition, support services are provided in the area of research data management. In line with the FAIR Data Principles, developments are carried out and the consortium's researchers are supported in improving the traceability of results and research data management in general, in accordance with the FAIR principles.
Status and duration
The current third phase of SFB Transregio 156 will run from July 2023 to June 2027.
