EN_Betriebsmeldung - 22 June 2026 Maintenance: Standard email accounts will be unavailable from July 3–6, 2026

From July 3, 2026, through July 6, 2026, we will be migrating our email back end from the existing Cyrus Linux mail server to the new Dovecot Linux mail server.

What does this mean for you?

• The Standard Email Account and Listserv will be unavailable during the specified time.
• This affects both the SOGo webmail interface, Listserv and all standard email clients (e.g., Thunderbird, Outlook, Apple Mail).
• Our Exchange environment remains unchanged and is not affected by the work.

The switch to Dovecot brings a more modern architecture, higher performance, improved security, and a future-proof foundation for further functional and scalability enhancements.

What happens next?

Once the migration is complete, all systems will be available as usual.
If you experience any unexpected problems accessing your email account after July 6, 2026, please contact IT Support immediately.
