The central office is the main service point for internal and external URZ business processes. It supports the director as well as the service areas and departments of the university computing centre in all administrative and organisational matters.

Services

  • URZ Financial Management
    Procurement, contracts and accounting, budget planning, personnel and material budgets, controlling
     
  • URZ Personnel Management
    Personnel administration, travel and work time management
     
  • License management
    Closing of license contracts, issuing licenses, consultation
     
  • Press and Public Relations
    Preparation of articles and reports about the URZ, coordination of URZ public relations (e.g. publications, newsletters, social media); conception, planning, and realisation of communication activities.
     
  • URZ Organisational Tasks
     
  • Computing Purchases
    The URZ supports Heidelberg University's central purchasing body of Heidelberg University with the processing of computing purchase requests and tenders for hardware and software.
